M51 Whirlpool Galaxy and something called the Moon!

This is my very first DSO image and first time user of Photoshop CS6!I was out till 4AM last night/morning taking these photos of M51 Whirlpool Galaxy and finished off with the Moon.M51 is 37 million light years away,100,000 lights years across and the total mass is estimated to be the equivalent of 160 billion suns.



Photos took with a Canon 350D using BackYard EOS capture software
