I had to buy a new emergency stop switch for a small machine I bought, it was damaged and wouldn't stay down.
I took the old switch apart after replacing it (£12.50) and found a tiny spring, which applies pressure to a ball bearing, had been dragged into the mechanism is no longer a spring. Totally mangled.
It's about 1.5mm diameter by 8mm to 10mm original length.
What would contain such a small spring that I could use to refurbish? I'm sure I've seen something that small in relatively common stuff.
