Hardware Looking for a rugged style laptop

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a rugged style laptop or even a kit that can convert a standard laptop into a rugged one. The use is within a garage so potentially it could get stuff spilt on it or dirty oily fingers - any suggestions?

I have seen a few for £1000 but this seems a little steep.

Toughbook or any cheap crap laptop off gumtree some for 30 quid on there and then if it get beat up then buy another
any old tat will run all you need for garage

yes a war tank i have got and slower than a snail and cannot read screen,lucky when viewing adverts i found one with autodata and vcds installed.name might be ibm?
