can anyone tell me if this is any good? i've noticed kazaa ++ has got a lot worse over the last while, certainly in comparison to its glory days!

Kazaa is no good anymore.

Try using Overnet P2P.
Using it meself, and downloads are ok and fast for me
Also takes eDoneky links

How does it compare to something like BitTorrent? I enjoy BT but miss the kazaa style where you could work on downloading loads of files, and the files were easier to find with one big lazy ass search ?

The GUI looks like eDonkey/eMule.
You don't need to worry about server lists though, saves you a lot of hazzle.

To get an impression of Overnet, just give it a try and see how it treats u

I stopped using kazaa a while ago now using emule not the fastest but you don't seem to get mis-named files as much as you did on kazaa !!!

i tried overnet, it is certainly not somewhere u want to go if u dont have spyware control.

i loaded overnet and spysweeper and peergaurdian both went into hyperdrive

Anyone scared of Overnet Spyware please follow the instruction on the page below:

Another way to avoid the spyware being active in the background
is to deselect the 4 options during install, where it asks u whether you want
to "try out" the partner programs. (See screenshot)

And another way is to register Overnet, whichever way u do that hehe
This will bring down the spyware next to zero
