Jtag Stress Part 2

I have a non buffered JTAG and have finally managed to got it do more than this afternoon, After changing the LPT setting in the bios to Bi Directional and disabling the anti virus (Kaspersky I.S) I managed to get it to erase and part flash but it would end at various percentages through the process. I tried the flash that came with the jtag and two off the forum but with no success. Here are the results:

jtag can be touchy about timing,
make sure there is no other crap running in the background,
no emule - no torrent, no msn, etc.

whats the total length of your jtag, they reccommend 3-inches to get more success, stupidly small
