Is Wi-Fi needed?

Good Dish, wired BB to TV.

Going for order with A. D. for Ibox 3 (got good signal from cable) but know nothing about images going around.

If Opera or You tube etc, better to have wi-fi installed at buy time so hand controller/kb can be used from start?
