I get the "Oops: kernel access of bad area, sig: 11" message just before the box freezes... although other logs show that it doesn't always cause the box to freeze.

The "Segmentation fault" always results in a freeze and usually shows when (unsuccessfully) flashing an image using IFA... although again, not always.
