Kids were watching the box tonight, they said it froze then reboot itself, while trying to reboot it locked up on the boot logo so I reflashed the box and now I'm getting 'Waiting for Time' on all channels, I also get an error when I try to run a channel scan.

Is the tuner faulty?

Yet another Nokia bites the dust. This is getting unbelievable now. In the last week there have been so, so many Nokias then have gone kaput!

Anyway :

"[newcamd-v6.10] CA_SEND_MSG: Remote I/O error"

...doesn't look good mate. I think that can and usually does indicate some kind of SEC chip error or failure.

I'm also getting this when I change channels...

[dmx.cpp:read:184] read(fd, buf, n): Connection timed out
zap failed!

Yeah, it definitely looks to me like there's either a problem with your SEC chip (anything from a knackered one, to a dry joint in the area) or perhaps some dodgy memory on the blink.

I could be wrong of course, there are loads here who know more than me obviously, but that's what it looks like mate :(

The zap failed message is basically the software complaining that it's not getting a usable or understandable signal.

hi witchey,,does it have that little memory board plugged in?(some nokias have them) might have come loose,or, try another image, i got the blade trinity working great with a box that was fooked with any sportster image

No extra ram board mate and I've already tried 3 different independant images, 2 neutrino and 1 Enigma.

Looks like I now own a large black ashtray.
