yes you can play copied games but on cfw . if the ps3 as gone past 3.55 fw then atmo no

theres a downgraded i believe now, e3 i think it is, thing is you cant play any of the new games as they requirew higher firmware than 3.55 so could be a waste of time, when uncharted 3 comes out im updating mine,
