iphone to dm800s

hi guys

I usually link in to my dm800se while at my van so I can receive all my channels, for some reason now it finds my phone in wifi but will not connect.
I have tried everything I can so was wondering if you guys have any ideas I could try?

also I have tethered to my win 10 laptop and connects fine so I know the tether is fine, is there a way I can tether to the laptop then share the connection to other devices?

I believe you need to open ports on router and know IP of dream 800 !!
