iPhone iphone hdmi connector

Anybody got one of the iphone hdmi dock connectors like below, only got a composite cable at present and the picture quality is rubbish on tvcatchup etc was just wondering whats the picture like using this as its 1080p

I got one that looks nearly exactly the same off Dealextreame and it cost me £29.
It works great, I was really surprised when I saw the picture quality of it, off both my iphone 4 and Ipad2

I didnt realise the ip4 was even capable out outputting a 1080p display, I thought only newer phones had enough grunt?

How well does it playback video at that res?
