Hope you guys can help I have an iPhone 4 locked to orange and would like to put an o2 SIM.the phone is on 6.1 firm .is there a decent jailbreak and unlock you could advise.

Again mate it all depends on the baseband.
As far as I know there's only 1 unlockable baseband on the iPhone 4 : Unlockable Basebands ! [Archive] - GSM-Forum

You can't do the iPad baseband trick so if it isn't on that baseband then all you can do is a factory unlock
There's only a tethered jailbreak for IOS6 at the moment
