I have a problem with my pc. Everytime I go into my pictures folder I get a script error and an option to keep running the page ! I have tried the options in IE setup to switch off debugging but does not seem to effect the problem. The rest of the pc works fine and the internet works ok as well.

Any Ideas as its a bit annoying.

Dutcho, they could tell which OS you are using and which version of IE you were running but that's about all, I wouldnt think there was anything to worry about if you're software is, well need I say more.

It is illegal for them to access your pc and then prosecute you for non licensed software.

Is an invasion of your privacy.

So you can rest easy

I expect the the majority of microsoft's software installs are illegal by a long way. Just think of how much software in Africa and Asia is ripped off.

I think that if Microsoft REALLY enforce payment of licenses, then the majority of the world will use something else, and Microsoft will in the end loose out big time.

I'm sure that there are many thousands of users in the UK using the latest microsoft software on a "trial" basis, so I wouldn't worry.
