Update.
My left foot (hehe) injury put me out of action (hehe) for a while. So I have been resting, and doing a bit of walking, and light running, whilst it healed.
It has healed.
New 10k treadmill record: 43:11
9mph for 20 minutes, 8.5mph for 10 minutes, then 8mph. During the last 3 minutes I put it back up to 9mph.
My aim is to get to the point where my comfortable running pace is at or around 9mph, then I can notch it back a bit for longer distances.
I am definitely going for the London Marathon next year. Ballot on 4th May for those interested.
