Eric Bana, star of Hulk is set to take over the role of James Bond, the News of the World reports today.
The news comes just days after Pierce Brosnan, who starred in four Bond movies, including 2002's Die Another Day, announced that he wouldn't be continuing in the role.
Filming on the next Bond movie, the 21st in the series, could start in September, the newspaper claims.
As well as his role in Hulk, Bana has also appeared in Black Hawk Down and Chopper.
"Eric is the guy they want but he has a reputation for being demanding," an insider told the newspaper. "They want to modernise Bond and turn him into a youthful, suave and modern hero to compete with the likes of Spiderman and Keanu in The Matrix."
