HP Compaq dc7100 Ultra-slim Desktop PC beeps 4x at start

Hi digital Friends i have a friends HP Compaq dc7100 Ultra-slim Desktop PC when i power it on it beeps 4 times and light flashes is this a bios warning or ? and nothing apperars on the monitor ? any suggestions much appriciated thanks! :Biggrin2:

I saw this on the Vectra VL420, when the Power supply entered safe mode. take the cmos battery out and then replace. dunno if it will work for this, let me know mate

4 beeps are generally a POST error (Power On Self Test). it indicates either a memory problem, or the graphics card is faulty. try reseating both

hey thanks everyone it was the motherboard that needed replaced
