How Make Backup Of DM800 Clone

did you chmod the files?

chmod 755 buildimage build-nfi-image.sh mkfs.jffs2

It's working here. All I did is to put all the files in the .rar on /hdd (not in /hdd/backup) and chmod 775 all the files to make it easy.
Then just typed :

root@dm800:/# cd /hdd
root@dm800:/media/hdd# ./build-nfi-image.sh /hdd

No file on my usb stick.
So i think this wont work for me, or has someone a solution to create a backup for a DM800 without HDisk inside. I want to backup my flash on USB. Thx!!!!

Did you mount the usb stick via device manager in the blue/blue button menu and put the files on in from post 3 in this thread
also create a 128mb swap file via swap file settings in the same blue/blue button menu and activate it
or you could just use flashwizard pro to do a backup instead

In the blue button by devices it is mounted as /dev/sda
Model USB Mini R
Size: 1.9GB

How do i create a swap file via the blue button???
i tried the following without succes.....

root@dm800:/media/hdd# ./build-nfi-image.sh /dev/sda

benutze den manuell definierten SSL

uhmmmm maybe to stupid to creat a backup....
I have Flashwizard Pro 6.3
mabye u can give me the instructions for dummies to work with Flashwizard Pro to make a backup on the usb stick. Would be great!!! if possible! Thx in Advanced!!!

You need to change the mount to media/hdd not /dev/sda
also found this but have never tried it
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Thx Fergalsworld, but that dont work either.
Works with a dreambox 500
but not with a DM800HD PVR without Hdisk.

think the problem is in the swapfile
But how i have to make the swapfile, i really dont know.
Manage with the blue button?... but how? Thx Again... Hope i dont spoile ur Saturday...... Best Regards! and thx for ur help!!!
