Ok so we're in looking for holidays.
Quoted Just under £1000 for a fortnight to Mexico from Manchester. I explain we're over 200 miles from Manchester.
Then they come back with a quote £300 dearer just to fly from Glasgow.
So it now means we have to drive down to Manchester to catch a flight, about 40 quid in petrol to save money.

on a positive note though - drive to Manchester for the £40 and with the other £260 you'll save book into a nice hotel (if you can find a nice one in Manchester .. lol) and add an extra night to your holiday
