help with wireless bridge

posting this for a friend,

trying to get on live using wireless bridge in vista, have created the bridge successfully and tried a crossover and a straight cable (not sure what was required)
when i test the connection on 360 i get all passes until xboxlive then fails.

i have posted pics of the error messages.

any pointers much appreciated.

Not sure what you mean , if you are going wireless , why are you using an ethernet cable?

i think he means he is connected to the pc and the pc is wireless m8,
i get the same prob on my baned console mate is that a posibility m8 unless live is just having a bad day.

Go into your 360 network config and set your DNS servers manually.

it passes DNS but fails xboxlive, will it help to configure manually (and how?)
