help with built in on-digital tv`s

i have a cracked card and know how to use it and program the codes each month. However i tried my working card in an on-digital tv, where the card goes in the back. I hadn`t updated the codes to this months yet, so i tried to enter it using the parental lock on the tv, but it wasn`t a code type lock. So how would i enter the monthly codes on to the card, without putting it back in a stp? (the tv is a sony)

Well i would say yes that you could program your card with the sony as i can't see it being any different to the bush tv....
Try menu then No3 parental lock then No1 then tell me what it says m8.
It should say enter new parental code if so then it should work ok.......Gazer
PS is it a chip card you are useing, and have you got it in the right way ??
