I downloaded cloney exe earlier before Highlander said to take the (1) out I tried to open the programme with win zip now everytime I re download it it trys to open in winzip how do i stop this and open the exe programme

Its a stand alone. Winzip not required

Make sure when you download that 'Save this file to disk' is selected and not 'Open this file from its current locationin' in the download box

This programme still wants to open using win zip and wont everytime i download it it appears on my desktop as a zip file. How do i stop this happening and download it as it is on the site

If you use a shell like Wincommander you will be able to remove the association feature with that particular file. You have somehow managed to associate that file with winzip and this attribute needs to be removed.

If you are still having problems then you could try uninstalling winzip, this will remove the associations with that file. You can always install it again afterwards..
