Garmin Mobile PC software version 5.00.10

hello all,

I know this is for PC... but i guess PC is closer to PDA... as opposed to other sections...also, never seen much of Garmin question, so, this is just a quick query to see if anyone can help out...

i manage to install the garmin mobile PC 5.00.30 fine in my pc... i also used JMGARkey for the unlock ...

the questions, come when i try to view the map Singapore_Malaysia NT v301 through the program... i started a 'Garmin' folder inside C:\GarminMobilePC\

C:\GarminMobilePC\Garmin folder contains gmapsupp.img, gmapsupp.unl, sw.unl (i copied this files directly from my downloaded zip file and paste it in the folder)

Am i doing the wrong thing cause i can't browse/view the map in the program..?

You need GarminMobileXT to run on a PDA as there is no version for WinCE. There is a working version available you may need to google to find it. Even if you have unlocked the maps on your PC, you still need the garmin keygen to generate SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL files. These files are device specific i.e. its no use simply copying the files, they have to be generated for the specific device/SDcard.
