Hi all im looking for a restoration project if eney one can help
this is the story my dad in his yonger days like the year 00. lol
had a bsa d1 motor bike the ex post office kind in green
well he had this bike for years as a kid rode it about on green belt
then when he reached the age to ride on the road he decided to take it for an mot and guess what it passed first time lol like hell it would now lol
eney ways i would love to find a d1 now restoration job i could do up for him
so if eney one knows of one sitting in the back of a barn or garden shed give us a shout cash wating

I'll keep my eyes open m8. I think we all loved the old bantams when we were kids. There was one in a local general auction about a year ago. Same as that one on ebay. Perhaps not quite as bright n shiny, but good condition.

Reserve was only about £250.

I was watching this one local to me a few weeks back. Nearly tempted me lol.

£650 not bad , you should have bought it !
 
I have seen BSA BANTAMS for sale in CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE MECHANICS mag also.
 
It went for £750, it looks like a bargain was had.
yeah it was but this is a prezzy and 750 on a prezzy is over priced for now was hoping to spend around 550 to 600 but judging by the prices they are fetching it could become a nice little investment to
