firefox wont run

installed firefox 1 on the lappy but it wont run ive uninstalled re-downloaded the proggy and re-installed it still wont run ant ideas

Try doing a reg clean before re installing it.

Just run a reg clean program, one in my sahre, should clean the lot up ok but make a backup just in case

I had this problem but it turned out to be Zonealarm that was causing the problem. Strange too because their was nothing I could see in the zonealarm settings that would stop it.

Yep started using the free Sygate firewall instead

ive never had problem with firefox, got running on desktop with sygate firewall and on lappy with norton firewall.
running ver 1.0 on both.

Paul I've ran Firefox with ZA, Sygate and now McAfee and never had one bit of trouble.
Maybe your lappy is missing some sort of .dll file or that to get it to work.
Run PCBug Doctor as that should sort it out if it's that.
