The draw for the FA Cup third has taken place and as the tie of the round sees non-league Yeading up against Newcastle United.

Memories of Hereford United's famous victory over The Magpies will surely be rekindled as Graeme Souness takes his side to play Yeading.

The match is due to take place at Yeading's ground The Warren, but the tie could be switched on police advice - with only a limited amount of space available to fans at the Middlesex-based stadium.

Another non-league outfit Exeter City have been handed a dream tie as they travel to Old Trafford to face holders Manchester United.

The only other non-league team in the draw was Hinckley United, and they will face Luton Town if they can overcome Brentford in a replay.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea will be happy with their draws as they entertain Stoke City and S****horpe United respectively.

Unusually there is not a single all-Premiership tie, but Liverpool, Everton, Birmingham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Norwich, Bolton, Fulham, Tottenham and Blackburn must all overcome Championship opposition.

Middlesbrough, Southampton and Manchester City, meanwhile, all face tricky away ties to lower league opponents.
