DreamElite 4 oscam smargo setup

Not played around with the DM800 for ages so installed DreamElite 4 R004

I can't read my card in oscam, any idea what settings I need to use

I've tried changing the kernel between normal and dreambox
smartreader+ version v1.3

MODE autoswitch
FREQ 3.69 Mhz
KERNEL dreambox
T_MODE t = 0
EGT 0

from DM800
lsusb
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
 
Try the below in your reader section in oscam.server

label = ***UK
protocol = smartreader
device = 002:006

Should have put the smargo options I used in the 1st post, anyway rebooted it and device has now changed to 002:002

used the settings you suggested and started with and without card but getting the same errors

Changed the kernel back from dreambox to normal and all ok now

spoke to soon, restarted oscam now the error have come back again

Are you using an old version of Oscam?
And has your smargo been updated lately?

Not updated the Smargo, version is 1.3

only just started using oscam, all worked ok with DE2.1 and CCcam

oscam is 1.20-unstable_svn build #7218

Try one of the latest versions that have libusb support

OE2.0 OScam Download Center

OE1.6 OScam Download Center

You can literally just extract the oscam binary file on its own from the packages and replace your own one,make sure to stop oscam first,dont forget to reboot afterwards
 
tried some of the later version, oscam wouldn't start as all even after a reboot. Anyway gone back to 7218 and working now

weird

Anyway thanks for your help again, now for CrossEPG
