dreambox 800hd pvr setting up usb

first i would like to say hello all im new here.ive read so many links about setting up usb for hdd,the thing is im new to the dreambox world and tried to set it up with no joy.could someone please if you could explain it as you were talking to a child lol.could you make it as easy for me as you can thnx.the image i have is merlin,also been told that pli image is good i do know how to flash the box atleast,was wondering if someone could give me a link for pli image sim 201 bootloader ssl84b.thankyou.

you should find plenty of images in the download section.i went to memory then i formatted usb makesure its fat 32 .then i let the dreambox know where to look for drive when rec.
