Ive got a 500c which is connected to my tv via scart and shows on av1, and basically when its on standby all the other cannels are distorted by a black screen with colours running down it horezontilly, This means that because i have a ps3 hooked up on av2 i can no longer play it while the dreambox is in standby as the screen is distorted. Now i could of sworn it never used to do this. Anyone know how to resolve this?

swap them round, make sure you haven't got them tangled around any power leads and they have a clear run to the tv if it's still happening, then maybe have a look at a remote control av center, something that is decent as I've seen many a system that lets you plug multiple scarts in but you get the dreaded rolling effect.
I picked up an 6 - 1 av center, i was really lucky, Dixon's where i live sold these for 15 quid, maybe have a look on fleabay.
