OpenVix Apollo 157 XBMC (for Sunray Solo2 only)

Source Date: 23/03/15
Kernel: 3.13.5
Drivers: 17/03/15 XBMC (patched)

This build requires a clean/fresh flash with no restore of settings due to significant code change in preparation of the new OE-A core. I therefore recommend doing a complete image backup of your current system first.

Also, some time in the future the 'Apollo' name will be discontinued and a new name chosen and this new image will require a fresh flash with no restore of settings also. No time-frame, as yet, is known for when the new OE-A core will be introduced.

This is a plain OpenVix Apollo with no customisation. After flashing, you will be prompted by the Setup Wizzard. You will need to customise it further yourself.

Updating is possible, but keep in mind future driver releases/updates may harm your box. This image has the driver version patch and drivers write-protected already to reduce (but not guarantee) likelyhood of drivers being replaced during an update. Any updates done are at your own risk!

Credit goes to Sim2/Sunray team (with special thanks to RamiMAHER for the patched xbmc drivers and Gjstroom for patching driver version).

This image has only been tested on Sunray Solo2 clones. Use on any other clones may result in a bricked box. Use at your own risk!

Do I still need to do a clean flash when coming from version 155?

I would probably say no, you should be okay doing a restore of settings from 155 so long as 155 was a clean flash.

I would do a backup image of your 155 now so if you notice any problems with 157 then you can go back.

Due to release of build 160 here day after build 157, I've had asked for 157 to be removed.

Please use build 160.
