Dog barking

Now I love my own dog, and the dog that's barking is lovely and I've been out to the neighbours dog to encourage it to be quiet and go back in door. Now, why don't I let the neighbour know? They have gone out for the evening and have a dog flap! 3rd time in the space of a week its barked at this time and 2/3 times they have been out or had been out(for drinks) so never heard the dog barking.

Now the people in question think they are the streets royalty, and probably won't care that the dog has barked.

What should we/us do?

just tell them nicely that the dog is barking it's tits off when they are out , and the dog is still looking for the dog flap lol

then if it still continues you know they are dick heads , and up to you how to sort it out really
