i have been told the xbox 360 play copy dvds does that mean it play dvix and xvids as well

not out of the box,it will but u have to stream em from ur pc thru an app called transcode 360-it basically reencodes em on the fly while streaming em to ur 360

u can get a plugin for mce that does transcode on the fly and its got ac3 output too from http://runtime360.com/ its by far the best
