DM8000 and Network why not 1Gbit

Having a quick read of the spec for the DM8000 I noticed it only does 10/100MBit am suprised, for box that cost close to £1000 - why not have a 1Gbit ethernet - just suprised DreamMedia didnt implement this.

Probably because they are thieving German bastards, just my opinion though.
