dm600 bio's

ok been messing with me dm600,i was gonna try an image blah blah blah
anyway when i telnet into it i get into the dm600 bio's,its the first time ive seen
this of 5 years of owning this box and differant images ive used
but looking thru the bio's ive come across this misc anyone explain warning:use this option with care.... flash sector recovery [disabled]

Yes. It's for marking corrupted sectors on the flash rom. It can be enabled within DreamUp without the need to enter bios. You would tend to only enable it in bios if you are having a problem with RS232. It would then give you the 'sector recovery' option on the web interface.
