Disobedient CD /DVD drive...

Using windows media player I set it up to make a music CD click burn, nothing happens then it ejects the CD / DVD asks for a blank, will not recognise blank CD / DVD’s of any make, tried three different makes? Any ideas, bill :drink:

do'es it say no disk in drive??
possiblhy laser fault

use a proper burning programme to do cd / dvd's

alot easier

i have had that prob where by you think the disc has been formatted by just a little info is left on.bloody annoying ,also had it whilst doing a dvd backup disc

you need to check that the recorder that you are trying to use is configured in media player.
Tools - Options - Devices

configure recording device
