deleted x.menu

hi,

new to this forum so hi to all !

i decided(foolishly) to delete some games from ds firecard. my son wanted x men deleted and yes, you've guessed it , i deleted xmenu.nds file so just get error message. have downloaded xmenu.dat file but cannot open it ( i have windows vista). any suggestions ? as you can probably guess - useless with computers !

Hi, you need to plug in your Fire cart and then put the xmenu.nds onto the cartridge, like you do the games etc.

When you next run the cartridge it will then create the system folder for you.

This will get you sorted.

i was going to say take the roms off format the card and reinstall the firmware. just incase of compatibility issues with possible updated firmware. and assumingg the firecard uses a micro SD card

the cart uses integrated memory, not MSD.

It can still be formatted by pressing L&R shoulders,down and A&B all at the same time, immediately after selecting the FireCart in the DS startup menu.

I agree, and the new firmware has put a much nicer menu on the console.
