Do you remember the movies that came out on Divix. Well I have about 5 and would like to decode them and put them on a DVD-r. Does any one know of a program that will do this?

WinAvi does it for me, as long as you have the codecs install ie: divx software.

first make sure you have the latest k-lite codec pack installed.

winavi and will do it

1. select batch media convert
2. add your files
3. select output mode one dvd, seperate titles.
4. select advanced options and make sure enable dvd chapters and enable dvd menu is ticked.

this will let you choose between movies on start up menu.

found it best not to put more than 3 movies onto one dvd for quality reasons

Urmm guys, I don't think he's talking about movies encoded in DIVX or XVID.

A few years ago a new type of Pay-Per-View movie format was released on DVD, you bought the disc for a few quid (usually about £2), you could then watch it as many times as you like within the first 2 days, after this you had to pay for everytime you wanted to watch the film, your DIVX player needed to be connected to a telephone line in order to pay for the film.

The whole setup was a complete failure. :)

Yep, that was it
