Hi everone.

Just thanking you all in advance for any advice you can give.

I recently had trouble with my V!rgin media broadband and an engineer has changed the wireless router to the super hub which didnt cure the problem because there was a fault in the line.

I am now in posession of a D link DIR 615 wireless router and am planning to use it as a wireless bridge/repeater.

Has any one done this before????

All the tutorials on the net seem very long winded and complicated.

A simplified set of instructions is what im looking for.

Thanking you all again for any advice.

depends if both your routers have the option, you can force them to make a bridge but doing this doesn't get you any nice config pages etc.....oh and did you see this tut? lolol..

Hi,

Was trying this last night with limited success. I have VM superhub downstairs (using wireless) and then a dir-615 upstairs. The dir-615 seemed to have 3 different MAC addresses and I added all 3 to the superhub allowed list but it wont get a valid IP address from the superhub. If I change the setting on the superhub to allow any MAC, the the dir-615 works fine. I've checked the 3 MAC addresses are correct and been entered properly.

Anyone have any suggestions to try out?
thanks
