Corrupt Body Control Module

Hi,

As fiddling about with cars is "not my thing", I thought I'd ask the kind members of DW for some help. A workmate of mine has a Corsa D 2007 Body Control Module. The firmware is corrupt and he was wondering:

1. Where can he get the firmware from? I don't think he wants to take it to Vauxhall. He'd rather try it himself before going down that route.

2. If he manages to get his hands on the firmware, is there particular steps he needs to take to reflash it?

U need a tech2 to sps flash it

Firmware will be in Vauxhall tis software which u have to load the flash on tech2 then flash bcm

U will need the immobiliser pin which should be on a little card called a car pass with handbook pack

@fes_786 He can't get a tech2, so he's going to bite the bullet and take it to a Vauxhall garage. Your info is greatly appreciated. Many thanks
