Hi everyone,
Can anyone please help me with IBOX 3 not clearing and DVBC Virmin channels via softcams CCCam (2.3.0-r0) or via MGCamd (1.38c-ssl1.0), however DCB-S SLY UK channels clears with SLY NLine on same CCCam/MGCamd but Virmin channels not clearing with Virmin NLine on same CCCam/MGCamd softcam.
I have tried 2 different Virmin Nlines on Ibox3 on CCCam/MGCamd, still not clearing any channels
It seems the DVBC Virmin channels are not sending command to CCCam/MGCamd softcam to clear the Virmin channels, but DVBS SLY channels are sending command to to CCCam/MGCamd softcam to clear SLY channels.
I am using latest Openpli 4 with Kernael version 3.12.1
SAME Virmin NLine works ok on AMIKO combo box.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your advise.

I have carried out all the steps as listed in the old thread and changed all the files in /usr/keys/ folder from. https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/vu-s...d-newcamd.html

I still have same issue.
Issue to me seem to be something else, rather than softcam "newcamd.list" or "mg_cfg" file issue as same mgcamd softcam clears all DVB-S Sly channels with SLY Nline added to "newcamd.list", however same mgcamd softcam fails to clear DVB-C Virmin channels if i add Virmin Nline to same "newcamd.list".

NLine i add is in "newcamd.list" is in following format.

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS = Virmin192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
CWS = SLY192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Yes I can view BBC/ITV from DVB-C tuner, but not clearing any encrypted channels on Virmin.
Same virmin line works on Amiko combo on DVB-C. So not a Vermin server issue...

its will be a server issue mate its the box type setting on the server side
I had the same problem and had to get the server side to mod there file

That makes sense.
I will inform server provider to add ibox script on their server.

was not the ibox3 I had this problem with it was the triple tuner alien . but the dm500 would connect and also the amiko mini just the triple tuner wouldn't work
after a little reading up I discovered I was the box type no added to server file
worked a treat once it was added

Thanks everyone for support and sugestions.
I will update the post with outcome when my issue is resolved.

I have tested my Cloud IBOX 3 with another Virmin providers test Nline, all DVB-C Virmin channels clears :Cheers::banana: this proves (Cloud IBOX 3) box type is not added to Virmin server file.
I have sent message to Virmin server owner to add (Cloud IBOX 3) box type on his server.

Thankyou everyone for your help and suggestion.

least you got it sorted and sussed out what it was and its not your box

first post states the line worked on another box that's why I guessed was server side
its the only reason why the box wouldn't connect if all was set up right
