Cleaning indian sandstone

Does anyone have an Indian Sandstone patio, if so what is the best way to clean organic staining? Grass, soil, algae etc?

what about a pressure washer thats what i use on mine, but mine are just cheapo slabs not rich like you

Pressure wash it, maybe give it a coat with a good quality sealer if you havnt already.

Cheers, I aint sealed it yet as its only just been laid.

What sealer would you recommend?

Depends on the type of stone(raj green/fossil mint...) also depends on the finished look you would like, some leave it kinda shiny. Did your paver not offer you this?

I have the Raj Green sandstone. no my paver did not recommend any sealant.

In the last couple of week, its all laid, just the jointing to be done now. Whilst doing the rest of the garden today, got muddy footprints on it.

I thought Indian sandstone was meant to be left as is m8 and let it mature, if it gets slippery then just give it a jet wash but let it green up looks so much nicer...

You don't have to seal it but some do.

Depends if you like the fresh clean colours or the "aged" look

how did you get on with the sealent, maybe it's me but I couldn't find any brands named to buy on that site, I have the same problem, our patio is lovely when I power wash it twice a year, but it's not long before it grubby looking again,
let us know when you have sealed yours if it is successful

You best clean it before you point it! try a stiff broom and water first (let it dry to see) with a jetwash you may have to do it all you could see a patch where you've cleaned AND if it's not jointed you'll blast all the gear from the joints everywhere if it is jointed you'll more than likely damage the pointing, what do you intend to joint it with sand/cement or a specialist joint material? what width are the joints? I'd ask the stone manufacturer for sealant reccomendations, you have to be careful with sandstone It's not like concrete blocks, oh and it MUST be bone dry before you seal it.
