Channel update issue

Just did a manual update from the bouquet plugin & all of the deleted channel have reappeared & my channel order is gone as well . luckily I did the backup before the update. Is it because I haven't amended the text file or am I missing something else

You need to do two things:
1. Edit the file "custom_sort_3.txt" to your liking. It is in the plugin folder, /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoBouquets/
2. Enable custom sort 3. You said you could not find the option. Hopefully picture will be better description.

I have mine set to default and I put the channels I watch the most into Favourites (TV) and nothing changes in that folder unless I change it

How do I edit this file as on opening it with notepad shows me only numbers???

It is only meant to show you numbers. You are editing the numbers of the chanenls that the the plugin places in the bouquets. You are not editing the bouquet.

Here is a set of files. It has the sort file more or less how you wanted. There is no HD bouquet, so I have placed the HD channels in the specialist bouquet for you. The excel package to help organise the bouquets is also contained.

Right after updating my custom file all bouquets seems fine except HD one, I even tried to copy from your file & put it as specialist but still they are not appearing in the desired order.Need help please?

I don't know which sort file to use. The one you have here and the one in the PM are different. The specialist bouquet is 0e not 08.

One of them has this, which seems to be the one you want.

Does your receiver ave this sort file?
Have you run the plugin after correcting the sort file?

I used the pm file first which had this issue then I saw your message , so amended as per your advice . My box has now the file attached here that is with the special bouquet.I haven't got any special bouquet shown after running the plugtin instead have a HD one but channels are in the wrong order?

I even tried renaming HD bouquet as Specialist but still no joy, not sure whether to delete this bouquet altogether but not sure how to enable specialist bouquet again?

All sorted, did enable default settings which made all bouquets reappear & after deleting the unwanted ones , I have it as I wanted it to be. Have done a manual update & seems working fine for now. A very big thank you to Abu Baniaz for his guidance & help at every step

Just when I thought everything was sorted, I saw the new Vix image & decided to upgrade, what a silly mistake, now autobouquet plugin won't let me access the settings (by pressing menu) to select the custom 3 option? It goes to region & then starts scanning the channels? Any advice or should I go back to previous image?

Oh got there eventually, needed software update after the new image installation & then vola, it allowed the plugin menu access- sorted .........again for now
