changing the pin in a sammy 2110c

I have just changed the pin in a sammy 2110c using a fun card i first followed the instructions but that didn't work so heres what i done i programed the card as normal put the box in to engineers menu and put the card in but the box didn't reset so i just left it for 5min and then reset it my self and waited for it to boot and when it come up with the error about the card i swaped it for the original and reset the box again and after that the pin was set

In uni just now and can't think off the top of my head whether the chip needs erased before the pin can be reset (like the netid) will look later when im home.

Have u tried all the usual settings like 1234 etc?
