CELTIC will face a tough European tie against Portuguese side SC Braga in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Neil Lennon's squad will compete against a team that finished second in the Portuguese League last season, five points behind champions Benfica. And the tie will see the Hoops visit the 30,000-capacity Estadio AXA.

The ties are scheduled for July 27/28 (first leg) and August 3/4 (second leg).

Hibs face journey into unknown after Europa League draw and Motherwell could return to Scandinavia

Hibs will face a nervous wait before finding out who they'll play in the Europa League third round qualifying draw.

The Edinburgh side will face either Videoton from Hungary or Slovenian outfit NK Maribor for their first European adventure under Hughes.

The Videoton v Marivor second round tie is in the balance after the first leg ended 1-1, and Hibs will be looking out for the second-leg result before preparing for their own foray into Europe.

Videoton play in blue and red and were last in Europe in 2006/2007 where they were dumped out of the old Uefa Cup 3-1 by Swiss side Grasshoppers.

Meanwhile, Maribor are hailed as Slovenia's most successful club side with eight league titles and seven domestic cup successes.

They are also the only team from their country to have performed in the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Motherwell could face another trip to Scandinavia.

Craig Brown's men, who hold a 1-0 first-leg lead over Iclandic league leaders Breidablik, could then come up against Norwegian's Aalesund.

Third round qualifying matches will take place on July 29 and August 5.
