Need a player or convertor to playback cctv .dav files

got a copy of DVR365 Player but when playing back the screen is just purple

also how can you tell the day of the month with these files

1_01_M_082011160000

it shows the month and year and thats all

not sure about a player for it but would the date be either the 1st 1_01_M_082011160000 ?
or the 16th 1_01_M_082011160000 ?

may be the 16th, the 01 is the cam number

once I get some software to open then I can confirm

EDIT: just found this software to convert.... dhavi

converted that file I listed above and the date on the footage is 31-08-2011 16:00 (started at 16:00)

thing is with the dhavi software you can only convert 1 file at a time and theres 23,000 of them

I'm only looking for a specific date of the month
