Ok at work all the machines ar networked (food and drink machines that is). To use these machines we then have to swipe a card through them and then money is taken from our accounts, to top up these we swipe the card at these boxes and put our change in.
Is there anyway to put money on these cards myself or change the data on my card so that its a clone of another card that has unlimited spend ?

You might be able to-get a swipe reader(if it is swipe, not sure about the ones with a chip)connected to your pc, and try to read it with swipe card reader software. Im not promising anything though.

More than likely the card does not hold the what funds you have available. This will be held on a server type device attached to the network. All your card will have is your account details

If it's a pure swipe card then it will hold ure account details only. If it a chip card then it may contain ure balance also.

Card swipes could get info from another card so u can clone it.
Card readers can probably access and change this info as long as it is not encrypted.

Sorry just a small nag tho. Is it really worth it m8. The crime u would be commiting is "Theft Employee". This is deemed very serious. It one step down in seriousness from "Aggravated Burglary". U will be dismissed immediately, references would be out the window, you would most likely end up with a criminal conviction and may even end up in prison if the courts decided to make an example of u. All for the cost of a cup of coffee.
