Dixons group (Dixons, PC World and Currys) and Jessops are selling the 6.3 Megapixel Canon EOS 300D with 18-55mm lens for under £500 (this is probably because the EOS 350D is due out soon).

Jessops £489.99 - '2-3 week wait' (will price match high street stores if you buy from one of their 'bricks and mortar' shops).

I paid £469 just before crimbo for the 300d with Lens Kit. Luckilly I managed to get the £100 Cashback from Canon. Also used the 5% Dixons / Currys discount code found on DW. "DCBYAW" if my memory serves correct.

7 day shop have them for £484 inc lens kit.

Did you know that for an extra £65 - £75 they will take the lens off and just send you the camera body? I wonder how they work that one out!
