camera for daughter to take on holliday

looking for a cheap camera that takes half decent pictures and ideally waterproof (needs this as she's not that careful)as , when she gets back i can use it as as a fishing/beach camera. I have looked at the fuji x10 but really aiming around the £50 mark for new/second hand.

any recomendations most welcome

they take good pictures nowadays.

The waterproof Optios from Pentax normally review well. The W10 is from all the way back in 2006, but there are 2 on ebay that should finish for less than £40.

To be honest though, I would be weary of second hand waterproof cameras. You never know how the original owner has treated it...
