Blockbusters' Bob Holness dies at 83

BLOCKBUSTERS host Bob Holness has died today aged 83.
The broadcaster — who is best known for presenting the cult quiz show — had a career spanning almost 60 years.

He hosted the ITV programme for ten years from 1983.

A statement released by his family said he "died peacefully in his sleep early this morning".

Holness, who suffered a number of strokes and was in a nursing home, leaves behind his wife Mary, three children and seven grandchildren.

Another I remember him doing was Call My Bluff...He was like THE quiz master of the late 80s early 90s.
