Pulled the plug out of the cigarette lighter socket last night after arriving home. As I did the end came off inside the socket. This left the long fuse exposed which then toppled over sideways and touched the outside of the socket resulting in a big flash and a blown fuse

Anyone know where I can get another fuse T2AL 240V ?
Is Maplins my only hope ?

Make sure your end is on tight every time you put it in the socket guys ! ;-)

That happened to me with a cheap chinese Nokia phone charger, just about sh*t me self as I was doin about 80 on the M1 at the time. If not Maplins try RS Spares.

I have found a 2A fuse thats about 2mm longer but it seems to work.
Its not a slow blow so I hope its ok to keep using ?
