If your a beef lover, then you will definitely love this amazing recipe. Beef fried with a number of other ingredients, wrapped up in pita bread with freshly prepared honey-mustard sauce.
Serve 4
Ingredients
For Honey-mustard sauce:
Dijon mustard 1 tbsp
Extra-virgin olive oil 1 tbsp
Coriander, chopped 1 tbsp
Honey 1 tsp
Freshly ground pepper to taste
For Salad/pita:
Oil 1 tsp
Beef 2 slices
Sweet onion, sliced 1
Cherry tomatoes halved 10
Deli roast beef, cut into strips 4 slices
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Pita half opened 1
Baby spinach 2 cup
Shredded cheese 3 tbsp
Method
For sauce whisk mustard, oil, coriander, honey and pepper to taste in a small bowl. Set aside.
For salad/pita, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add beef and cook until crisp.
Drain, leaving fat in the skillet.
Add onion to pan, cook, stirring until soft and golden.
Add tomato, roast beef, salt and pepper to taste, cook until tomato and meat are warmed through.
Fill a salad plate and the pita with greens, divide beef-onion mixture between the two.
Top each with half of the cheese and honey-mustard sauce.
